On March 26, Xinjiang's first two-piece can production and filling sharing center project landed in Urumqi Economic Development Zone (Toutunhe District).

On the same day, Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone (Toutunhe District) held an investment agreement signing ceremony with Lanzhou Xinhe Can Co., Ltd., Urumqi Economic and Technological Development Zone C&D State-owned Capital Investment and Operation (Group) Co., Ltd., and Lanzhou Zhongshihe Packaging Co., Ltd., and will jointly build projects in the form of "cooperation + joint venture" in the future.

After the completion of the project, it will fill the industrial gap in the large-scale production of cans in Xinjiang and improve the layout of the whole food and beverage industry chain in Xinjiang.

Lanzhou Xinhe Can Making Co., Ltd. is a high-tech enterprise mainly in the metal products industry, and it is also one of the earliest can manufacturers in Northwest China, the main business is the production of two-piece aluminum cans and lids, and its products are used by many well-known beer enterprises in China.

The reporter learned from the signing site that the project is located in the Urumqi Green Digital Packaging Industrial Park in the Economic Development Zone (Toutunhe District), with a construction area of 7,500 square meters, and plans to build two production lines: a large-scale production line, adapted to 330 ml, 500 ml and other market general tanks; the other is a digital printing flexible production line, which supports traditional eight-color printing and customized digital printing, and can realize one-time packaging molding.

Two-piece can can is a metal packaging container composed of the can body (including the bottom integral molding) and the can lid, which has the advantages of good sealing, strong pressure resistance, light and easy to recycle, and is the mainstream packaging form of carbonated drinks, beer, herbal tea and other beverages.

"We chose to land in Xinjiang because of its location advantages and market advantages." Yang Guorong, general manager of Lanzhou Xinhe Can Co., Ltd., said that according to the plan, the first batch of equipment will be installed and commissioned in August this year, and will be officially put into operation before the end of the year, and the initial plan of the project is planned to produce 200 million cans per year. In addition to liquid filling, the project will also lay out solid filling functions for Xinjiang's characteristic agricultural products, extend the shelf life through relevant technologies, and solve the problem of traditional packaging that is easy to deteriorate. In the future, the company will expand the market of Central Asian countries through Xinjiang.

The green digital packaging industrial park aggregates packaging and printing enterprises to build a comprehensive green packaging and printing industry chain integrating R&D, design, production, circulation, recycling and recycling. Focusing on the goals of extending the chain, supplementing the chain, and strengthening the chain, we will promote the agglomeration and development of enterprises, coordinate and linkage, and jointly promote the green packaging industry to a new level of high-quality development.

After the establishment of the "Shared Filling Center", it will provide processing services for Xinjiang characteristic agricultural product enterprises, reduce enterprise investment costs and technical thresholds, and allow more small and medium-sized enterprises to enjoy high-level can packaging services and enhance the added value of products.

After the project is put into operation, the supply time of cans will be shortened from 7 to 14 days in the past to 4 to 5 days, and digital printing products can be quickly supplied in 1 to 2 days.

The canning production line introduced this time can strengthen the shortcomings of the food and beverage industry chain, so that more local primary agricultural products can be transformed into deep processing products, and the added value of products can be improved.
